Kelly Quinn, also known as Kelly of the Wild, has been an ally to sharks and marine life for years, working alongside Shark Allies for various campaigns and collaborations since 2019. As a wildlife artist, educator and illustrator, Kelly’s mission is to uplift the stories of nature through art.

Kelly is currently creating an interactive mural in the heart of Miami to celebrate the Kristin Jacobs Ocean Conservation Act. Shark Allies’ #NoFinFL campaign was instrumental in the passing of this legislation, which made Florida the 14th state to ban the fin trade in September 2020. The interactive, 2,000-square-foot mural depicts the coastal and pelagic waters of Florida, showcasing important issues relating to ocean ecosystems, coral restoration and endangered species.

Kelly’s ‘Guardians of the Ocean’ design was Shark Allies’ first-ever artist collaboration, inspiring much of The Shark Cafe today. The message behind the design is simply that sharks are the guardians of the ocean, and we must respect, protect and take action.

The ‘Guardians of the Ocean’ UPF long sleeve tee is made from approximately 16 plastic water bottles. Wear your love for sharks and support Shark Allies’ conservation work with this collection.
