Shark Allies is a Southern California-based nonprofit dedicated to the protection and conservation of sharks and the ocean through legislation, advocacy and awareness campaigns. Shark Cafe gives us an opportunity to go beyond the issues and celebrate the fascinating aspects of sharks and the incredible people working behind-the-scenes to save them.
Shark Cafe is a location, a brand and a community all in one. The name was inspired by the ‘White Shark Cafe’ (aka Shared Offshore Foraging Area) in the Pacific Ocean, the mysterious place where the two great white shark populations of the West Coast are said to meet with their kind, undisturbed and on their own terms.
