Support Ocean Conservation, Support the Ocean Community

The world of shark and ocean conservation is a small community, and just as we look out for the ocean, we look out for each other.

One of our own, Tré Packard, has been diagnosed with stage three cancer – and he needs your help. Tré is the founder and Executive Director of PangeaSeed Foundation, a nonprofit organization that gives a voice to the ocean through art and activism. He’s dedicated his life to protecting the world’s oceans and empowering individuals and communities around the world to become better ocean stewards. And now, he needs the community to rally around him.

Tré is the mastermind behind Sea Walls: Artists for Oceans, a public art program that brings the oceans into streets around the world. With 500 murals in 19 countries, this program unites communities on a global scale and reminds us that we’re all in this together. At The Shark Cafe, we believe that everyone can contribute to conservation efforts, regardless of background, skillset, or geographic location – and Sea Walls is the perfect example of that.

Without Tré, there would be no PangeaSeed, no Sea Walls: Artists for Oceans, and no globe-spanning network of artists contributing significantly to the cause. Tré has given to the ocean community, and now it’s time that we give back.

How to Support Tré

  • Donate to contribute to his medical care. Every dollar makes a difference in his fight against cancer. Donate via Venmo or PayPal.

  • Share with your network. Help spread the word on social media or by word of mouth. There is strength in this ocean community!
